The Dickies Medway hiking boot is perfect for everyday use as well as great for hiking and rambling. They not only look “cool” and visually appealing but also they are very practical and comfortable. I find getting shoes/boots extremely difficult for my 10-year-old son as he walks on the instep of his feet, so for me comfort is paramount for me when I buy him new shoes.
He found the Medway boot very comfortable with its padded ankle support it cushioned his ankle but didn’t restrict him in his walking. The insoles have a raised instep and are well padded so he isn’t just slamming his foot down and his foot is cushioned as he walks. The boots are perfect for walking on most terrains due to the chunky soles and the deep tread, given the foot a lot of traction and grip on any surface.
The full grain waxy cow leather upper gives the ultimate in weather protection making the Medway boot water-resistant to S3 standards. The inner membrane of the boot ensures your feet are dry and the thinsulate lining helps keeps feet warm.
